The company, an establishedcompany in E-commerce headquartered in Argentina, needed to solve thischallenge: “b2B marketplace for industrial supplies”. More than businessknowledge, what was missing was verifiable experience in the project's specifictechnical stack: a previous hiring attempt hadn't worked out, generating extracost and delaying the market opportunity. The context was one of acceleratedgrowth, with investment already committed and high expectations from leadershipand, where applicable, investors.

Squad Challenge designed 3 challenges, one per position, to evaluate professionals already linked to the client, drawnfrom its own internal team and outsourcing firms it already worked with, analyzing an average of 5 candidates per position (15 evaluated in total) in 1day.
An Enabling Team with specialists inarchitecture joined temporarily for 8 months to speed up delivery and transferbest practices. As in all Enabling Team projects, the working methodology wasan adaptation of Agile to the client's type of organization, structured intotwo tracks —Discovery and Delivery— given the level of agile principles alreadyestablished in the organization. Since the project also required a maintenanceand support team, a specific methodology was also developed for that team, independentfrom the development squad's.
The squad was made up of 3 profiles (backenddeveloper, Tech Lead, ML engineer) working on a stack of Python (Django),Vue.js, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Bitbucket, GCP, sourced from the client andits outsourcing firms. This squad integrated with the company's existingin-house technical team, respecting established processes and priorities. Sincesome of these profiles came from outsourcing firms, their turnover was high(around 50%), which led to evaluating 2 additional replacements over the courseof the project, reaching a total commitment of 8 months.
