The company, a growth-stagestartup in LogisticsTech headquartered in Colombia, needed to solve thischallenge: “freight marketplace for SMEs”. Internal interview processescouldn't validate whether a candidate truly understood the business domain, beyond purely technical command of the stack, which had led to hires thatdidn't work out. All of this was happening under time pressure, with a marketdeadline that left no room for error.

Squad Challenge designed 4 challenges, one per position, based on the business case itself, with an average of 5candidates analyzed per position (20 evaluated in total), delivering the finalshortlist in 3 days.
Squad Hiring managed, within 24h, theAOR-based hiring of the candidates validated through Squad Challenge, handlingcontract generation adapted to each developer's country of origin, datavalidation, and the onboarding process.
An Enabling Team with specialists inDevOps joined temporarily for 16 months to speed up delivery and transfer bestpractices. The methodology the Enabling Team applied was, as always, anadaptation of Agile to the client's type of organization.
In total, the squad was made up of 4 profiles(frontend developer, mobile developer, backend developer, full-stackdeveloper), working on a stack of Python (FastAPI), React, MongoDB,PostgreSQL/PostGIS, GitHub, GCP, Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS). The companyhad no consolidated in-house technical team, so the professionals proposed bySquadmakers, brought on under the AOR model, operated as the product'sengineering core from day one. The engagement ran for 16 months in total.
