The company, a growth-stage startup in LogisticsTech headquartered in Colombia, needed to solve this challenge: “freight marketplace for SMEs”. Internal interview processes couldn't validate whether a candidate truly understood the business domain, beyond purely technical command of the stack, which had led to hires that didn't work out. All of this was happening under time pressure, with a market deadline that left no room for error.

Squad Challenge designed 4 challenges, one per position, based on the business case itself, with an average of 5 candidates analyzed per position (20 evaluated in total), delivering the final shortlist in 3 days.
Squad Hiring managed, within 24h, the AOR-based hiring of the candidates validated through Squad Challenge, handling contract generation adapted to each developer's country of origin, data validation, and the onboarding process.
An Enabling Team with specialists in DevOps joined temporarily for 16 months to speed up delivery and transfer best practices. The methodology the Enabling Team applied was, as always, an adaptation of Agile to the client's type of organization.
In total, the squad was made up of 4 profiles (frontend developer, mobile developer, backend developer, full-stack developer), working on a stack of Python (FastAPI), React, MongoDB, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, GitHub, GCP, Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS). The company had no consolidated in-house technical team, so the professionals proposed by Squadmakers, brought on under the AOR model, operated as the product's engineering core from day one. The engagement ran for 16 months in total.
