The company, a growth-stage startup inCybersecurity headquartered in United States, needed to solve this challenge:“threat monitoring platform for SMEs”. Internal interview processes couldn'tvalidate whether a candidate truly understood the business domain, beyondpurely technical command of the stack, which had led to hires that didn't workout. The context was one of accelerated growth, with investment alreadycommitted and high expectations from leadership and, where applicable, investors.

Squad Challenge designed 4 challenges, one per position, based on the business case itself, with an average of 5candidates analyzed per position (20 evaluated in total), delivering the finalshortlist in 14 days.
Building on that foundation alreadyvalidated by Squad Challenge, Squad Hiring formalized the AOR-based hiringwithin 24h: contracts adapted to each developer's country of origin, datavalidation, and onboarding.
In total, the squad was made up of 4profiles (data engineer, frontend developer, ML engineer, Tech Lead), workingon a stack of Go, Vue.js, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Bitbucket, OVH. The companyhad no consolidated in-house technical team, so the professionals proposed bySquadmakers, brought on under the AOR model, operated as the product'sengineering core from day one. The engagement ran for 15 months in total.
