The company, an established company in Cybersecurity headquartered in United States, needed to solve this challenge: “vulnerability detection tool for SaaS”. More than business knowledge, what was missing was verifiable experience in the project's specific technical stack: a previous hiring attempt hadn't worked out, generating extra cost and delaying the market opportunity. On top of this, there were methodological problems in team and project management: inconsistent agile ceremonies, poor visibility into dependencies, and a delivery cadence that was hard to predict. The competitive window was short: a competitor with a similar product was already gaining market share.

Squad Challenge designed 4 challenges, one per position, based on the business case itself, with an average of 5 candidates analyzed per position (20 evaluated in total), delivering the final shortlist in 7 days. Since the client also raised methodological problems in team and project management, Squadmakers recommended bringing in an additional Agile Coach for the squad.
Squad Hiring managed, within 24h, the AOR-based hiring of the candidates validated through Squad Challenge, handling contract generation adapted to each developer's country of origin, data validation, and the onboarding process.
The squad brought on 5 profiles (ML engineer, Squad Lead, full-stack developer, mobile developer, Agile Coach) working on a stack of Java (Spring Boot), Vue.js, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, GitLab, GCP, Flutter. The company already had its own technical team, into which the professionals proposed by Squadmakers integrated directly —they become part of the client's team, not Squadmakers'—, respecting existing processes and priorities. The engagement ran for 16 months in total.
