The company, a growth-stage startup inHealthTech headquartered in United States, needed to solve this challenge:“treatment adherence tracking app”. More than business knowledge, what wasmissing was verifiable experience in the project's specific technical stack: aprevious hiring attempt hadn't worked out, generating extra cost and delayingthe market opportunity. The team also lived with methodological problems: noclear agile cadence, unreliable estimates, and difficulty consistentlyprioritizing the backlog. The budget was tight, leaving no room to absorbadditional overruns or delays.

Squad Challenge built 6 challenges, oneper position, based on the project's real business case, analyzing an averageof 5 candidates per position (30 in total) and delivering the final shortlistin 2 days.
Building on that foundation alreadyvalidated by Squad Challenge, Squad Hiring formalized the AOR-based hiringwithin 24h: contracts adapted to each developer's country of origin, datavalidation, and onboarding.
In total, the squad was made up of 6 profiles (backenddeveloper, DevOps/SRE, Squad Lead, frontend developer, full-stack developer, QAengineer), working on a stack of Python (FastAPI), React, PostgreSQL(HL7/FHIR), MongoDB, GitLab, GCP. The company had no consolidated in-housetechnical team, so the professionals proposed by Squadmakers, brought on underthe AOR model, operated as the product's engineering core from day one. Theengagement ran for 23 months in total.
