The company, a growth-stage startup inPropTech headquartered in Spain, needed to solve this challenge: “virtual tourand automated property valuation”. Internal interview processes couldn'tvalidate whether a candidate truly understood the business domain, beyondpurely technical command of the stack, which had led to hires that didn't workout. They also carried methodological management problems: immature agilerituals, difficulty planning sprints realistically, and little discipline intracking work. The context was one of accelerated growth, with investmentalready committed and high expectations from leadership and, where applicable, investors.

Squad Challenge built 4 challenges, oneper position, based on the project's real business case, analyzing an averageof 5 candidates per position (20 in total) and delivering the final shortlistin 5 days. Since the client also raised methodological problems in team andproject management, Squadmakers recommended bringing in an additional AgileCoach for the squad.
Building on that foundation alreadyvalidated by Squad Challenge, Squad Hiring formalized the AOR-based hiringwithin 24h: contracts adapted to each developer's country of origin, datavalidation, and onboarding.
In total, the squad was made up of 5profiles (ML engineer, QA engineer, full-stack developer, DevOps/SRE, AgileCoach), working on a stack of Python (FastAPI), Vue.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB,GitLab, AWS. The company had no consolidated in-house technical team, so theprofessionals proposed by Squadmakers, brought on under the AOR model, operatedas the product's engineering core from day one. The engagement ran for 12months in total.
