The company, a growth-stage startup inEdTech headquartered in Spain, needed to solve this challenge: “adaptivelearning platform for K-12”. The team lacked senior technical leadership tomake architecture decisions, and blockers piled up with no one having theauthority or the time to resolve them. On top of this, there weremethodological problems in team and project management: inconsistent agileceremonies, poor visibility into dependencies, and a delivery cadence that washard to predict. The competitive window was short: a competitor with a similarproduct was already gaining market share.

Over 11 months, an Enabling Team withspecialists in DevOps joined temporarily; upon detecting methodologicalmanagement problems, an Agile Coach also joined to bring order to the way theteam worked. As in all Enabling Team projects, the working methodology was anadaptation of Agile to the client's type of organization.
No profiles were added beyond theEnabling Team itself: the focus was on reinforcing the existing team on a stackof Python (Django), React + Next.js, MySQL, MongoDB, GitHub, AWS. The companyalready had its own technical team, with which the Enabling Team worked incoordination throughout the collaboration, without ever replacing it. Theengagement ran for 11 months in total.
