The company, a growth-stage startup in EdTech headquartered in Spain, needed to solve this challenge: “adaptive learning platform for K-12”. The team lacked senior technical leadership to make architecture decisions, and blockers piled up with no one having the authority or the time to resolve them. On top of this, there were methodological problems in team and project management: inconsistent agile ceremonies, poor visibility into dependencies, and a delivery cadence that was hard to predict. The competitive window was short: a competitor with a similar product was already gaining market share.

Over 11 months, an Enabling Team with specialists in DevOps joined temporarily; upon detecting methodological management problems, an Agile Coach also joined to bring order to the way the team worked. As in all Enabling Team projects, the working methodology was an adaptation of Agile to the client's type of organization.
No profiles were added beyond the Enabling Team itself: the focus was on reinforcing the existing team on a stack of Python (Django), React + Next.js, MySQL, MongoDB, GitHub, AWS. The company already had its own technical team, with which the Enabling Team worked in coordination throughout the collaboration, without ever replacing it. The engagement ran for 11 months in total.
