The company, a scale-up inEdTech headquartered in Spain, needed to solve this challenge: “coursemarketplace for professional training”. The challenge wasn't finding talent—the profiles were already identified by the client itself— but formalizingtheir international remote hiring without taking on the legal and tax risk ofopening its own entity in each country. The competitive window was short: acompetitor with a similar product was already gaining market share.

Squad Hiring evaluated the profiles theclient itself wanted to bring onto the squad —candidates outside theSquadmakers community—; Squadmakers didn't propose them, the decision to hirethem was always the client's. Squadmakers managed, within 24h, their AOR-basedhiring, handling contract generation adapted to each developer's country oforigin, data validation, the onboarding process, and any benefits the companydecided to offer them.
In total, 2 profiles joined the squad (Squad Lead, frontend developer), working on a stack of Python (Django), React + Next.js,MySQL, MongoDB, GitLab, AWS. The company already had its own technical team, into which the professionals it had selected and decided to hire wereintegrated, respecting existing processes and priorities. The engagement ranfor 10 months in total.
