Course marketplace for professional training

The company, a scale-up in EdTech headquartered in Spain, needed to solve this challenge: “course marketplace for professional training”. The challenge wasn't finding talent —the profiles were already identified by the client itself— but formalizing their international remote hiring without taking on the legal and tax risk of opening its own entity in each country. The competitive window was short: a competitor with a similar product was already gaining market share.

Squad Hiring evaluated the profiles the client itself wanted to bring onto the squad —candidates outside the Squadmakers community—; Squadmakers didn't propose them, the decision to hire them was always the client's. Squadmakers managed, within 24h, their AOR-based hiring, handling contract generation adapted to each developer's country of origin, data validation, the onboarding process, and any benefits the company decided to offer them.

In total, 2 profiles joined the squad (Squad Lead, frontend developer), working on a stack of Python (Django), React + Next.js, MySQL, MongoDB, GitLab, AWS. The company already had its own technical team, into which the professionals it had selected and decided to hire were integrated, respecting existing processes and priorities. The engagement ran for 10 months in total.
