The company, a growth-stage startup in MarTech headquartered in Spain, needed to solve this challenge: “multichannel attribution platform”. More than business knowledge, what was missing was verifiable experience in the project's specific technical stack: a previous hiring attempt hadn't worked out, generating extra cost and delaying the market opportunity. They also carried methodological management problems: immature agile rituals, difficulty planning sprints realistically, and little discipline in tracking work. All of this was happening under time pressure, with a market deadline that left no room for error.

Squad Challenge built 2 challenges, one per position, based on the project's real business case, analyzing an average of 5 candidates per position (10 in total) and delivering the final shortlist in 14 days. Since the client also raised methodological problems in team and project management, Squadmakers recommended bringing in an additional Scrum Master for the squad.
Squad Hiring managed, within 24h, the AOR-based hiring of the candidates validated through Squad Challenge, handling contract generation adapted to each developer's country of origin, data validation, and the onboarding process.
The squad brought on 3 profiles (ML engineer, QA engineer, Scrum Master) working on a stack of Python (FastAPI), React + Next.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, GitLab, GCP. The company had no consolidated in-house technical team, so the professionals proposed by Squadmakers, brought on under the AOR model, operated as the product's engineering core from day one. The engagement ran for 20 months in total.
